I received this beautiful gift in the mail yesterday (Silver Lining). Yes, it is an F-bomb. Literally. As many of you know, since the time of my diagnosis, I have dropped quite a few F-bombs. They fly out much more freely during times of high stress (e.g., hospitalizations, laying on the bathroom floor, visits from… Continue reading Value of the F-bomb
Inspired Living & Celebrating Life
Inspirational Dining
One of the many Silver Linings of my life is living in the beautiful state of California. This Thanksgiving weekend, I have hiked, played tennis, and swum – outside. On Thanksgiving evening, we roasted marshmallows and made S’mores – outside.
Style Inspiration: Aerin Lauder

The Husband of the Year) because his grandfather vacationed in Cuba in the 40s and 50s (much in the same way that people travel to Vegas and South Beach today). Havana is… Continue reading The Cuban People
Cuban Cars
The HOTY (a.k.a. Husband of the Year for new readers) and I have just returned from a magnificent trip to Cuba. Yes, Cuba. I still can’t believe that this time yesterday we were in Havana. Worlds, no galaxies apart. Traveling to Cuba is like traveling in a time machine back to the year 1959. From… Continue reading Cuban Cars
