Paula Haro has been my best friend since 4th grade. We have been best friends for over 30 years.
She is the sister I never had and longed for, she is my colorful kaleidoscope, when I can't seem to look at things in a clear way, she is the vault of all my inner most secrets, she is my ying to my yang.
I am the god mother to the eldest of her five children, I am her guaranteed chuckle of the day, I am her 3 am phone call in case of an 911.
We keep each other wise and we stimulate each other to strive everyday to become the better version of ourselves, we are the cleanest mirrors of each other, I can look at myself through her eyes, and never feel judged, we truly truly love each other, we often reflect on how incredibly lucky we are to have a friendship like ours.

Hollye how did you know I needed this quote??? My 17 year old son's best friend's mother took her life on Tuesday and he has not left her side since he found out. He is there to abate her misery and divide her grief. I am so proud of him.
Now to a happier question……will you be at Frances' wedding this weekend?? I hope so….so that I can finally meet one of my favorite heroines!
