This inspiring quote about finding a way to make something happen really struck a chord with me this week. As a very goal-focused, driven person, I adore (and am motivated by!) the thought that I have a choice about how I handle a project.
When I really think about it, when it comes to making things happen, I believe that it is indeed within our power to do so. As with so many things in life, it is all about changing the conversation from: “I can’t” to “I can try – and try again.”
Now, truth be told, I can come up with some hum-dinger excuses, beginning with “I’m sooooo tired” and “I have too much else to do” and on and on and on…however; whenever I give myself a Moonstruck “snap out of it moment,” I realize that the choice is – and always will be – mine. And that choice inevitably requires finding a way to make something happen.
So, please allow me to ask you: what are you going to find a way to do? What is that something?
I am posting this on my fridge and in my office. Because it is so darn true. Thank you, Hollye, I do love your blog! This quote reminded me of the Thoreau quote about living the life you have imagined, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."
Thank you so much for your kind words, E.B…and for sharing this beautiful Thoreau quote! Have a super weekend!
