The Silver Lining Book: Upcoming Event in Santa Barbara
Though I am in San Francisco (my home away from home, a place that is near and dear to my heart!) for book events this week, I’m excited to tell you that there are lots of fun events coming up in Santa Barbara that will be great fun!
First off is an event with the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara and Sansum Clinic, where my oncologist and internist work. I received (& continue to receive, actually!) the most amazing and inspiring care there. And truth be told, I am on the cover of their Good Health magazine with both of my amazing doctors. GULP. I still can’t believe it. The ultimate Silver Lining is for me to be able to be a cheerleader for the incredible care that I received in Santa Barbara.
The mission of Sansum is to provide an excellent healthcare experience, recognizing our first priority is the patients we serve. I soooo wish you were going to be in Santa Barbara on Sept 6-8 this year as that is when I will be there doing the 2 day Avon walk for breast cancer. Would LOVE to meet you and get a signed book. God Bless I am so happy for you.
