Earlier this week, you posted a wonderful story from a “sister” that turned her breast cancer into a mission of making bags for chemo patients, filled with chap stick, lotion, etc.
That story struck a cord with me. I am dealing with a recurrent breast cancer just 21 months after finishing chemo. I am doing radiation this time around. Today, my husband and I went back to the chemo treatment room and asked about their schedule next week. We are going to make bags for all the patients for the last day of treatment before Christmas- perhaps we can add a little jingle to their day! It has sure put some in ours just planning for it.
We are also taking a basket of ” goodies” to the radiation waiting area. Thanks to the friend that shared that story…Maybe it will catch on EVERYWHERE~~~~~What a wonderful idea.
