For the past two weeks, Excitedly Eight has had a slight – ahem – obsession with the song Let it Go from the movie Frozen. In fact, she belts it at the top of her lungs any & every chance she gets!  I love listening to her sing. There is nothing better than the uninhibited belting out of a child’s voice. Talk about a Silver Lining!

This weekend, she insisted that we watch the YouTube video of the song.  Wow, did it ever give me hope and goosebumps.  And then watching Idina Menzel sing it on the Oscars took my breath away. If you haven’t seen it, here it is along with the lyrics.  Enjoy!
