Musical Monday #1: Summer Breeze by Seals and Crofts

Music is a big part of our lives. Two of our (three) boys are working in (and loving!) the music industry. Now, I’ve never been one to tout my musical prowess or sophistication. In fact (much to the chagrin of my family) I will proudly state (or rather admit) that I love 80’s sing-a-long music.

I happen to think that the fact that music speaks to so many people in so many ways is a wonderful Silver Lining. So, I thought I’d start a new series called “Musical Monday’s” to share with you the music and lyrics that speak to me. I’d also love to hear from you!  What music speaks to and inspires you?

I thought I’d start the series with a song that ooooooozes summertime.  Hope you enjoy it! By the way, as I write this, Sweetly Six is bustin’ a move to the Cars (so my kid!).
