OMG, Hollye! Gladys Taber was my favorite author as a child! I know it sounds weird, but I stumbled across her Stillmeadow books and the stories of Jill and the dogs. They gave me such a sense of family and peace. I read millions of them!!!! How wondrous to find a quote from her on your blog.
