Time is the Coin of Your Life – Carl Sandburg

The last week has been over-the-top cuckoo busy.  This quote is bringing me back to center and helping me make the right decisions for the right reasons (Silver Lining).

  1. Be careful there, Hollye; over- the -top-busy can so easily get out of hand. Boy, oh boy, don't I sound motherly… just be careful and remember the quote! 🙂

  2. I also was diagnosed with stage IIB breast cancer. I had 5 out of 17 malignant lymph nodes. I underwent 6 chemo treatments and 6 weeks of radiation treatment. The hardest part was losing my hair. I was 37 when I was diagnosed. I lost my sister and my mother to breast cancer. My sister was 25 and my mom was 62. I am very happy to say that last month I celebrated my 18th anniversary. My kids are 27 and 25. I am so incredibly grateful for these last 18 years.

    1. Wow, Sandy. 18 years. That's so amazing. I'm thrilled for you! …though sad to hear about your mom and sister. Best wishes for continued good health!
