At Brookside, we celebrate ALL holidays. Holidays are joyous ways to bring tradition, spirituality, family, friends, food, and fun together.
At 4 3/4’s Preschool, she is learning about both Hanukkah and Christmas. …which is a good thing because she is a 50/50 kind of girl (I’m Irish Catholic and The Husband is Jewish).
First up for December: Hanukkah!
The symbol for Hanukkah is the Menorah.
We light candles in testament that faith makes miracles possible.

No Jewish Holiday is complete without food, food and more food.
Speaking of Jewish food, our dear friend, Monica Epstein, started a company called Moosica Macaroons. These macaroons are beyond belief. Writing about them makes me drool.
I happen to think that they blow the E.A.T. Macaroons (on Madison Avenue in New York) out of the water! 100% Guaranteed to put a big whopping smile on anyone’s and everyone’s face.
To order, either go to the website or email: moose@moosicamacaroons.com.

Wishing you a holiday season filled with SL’s!
