This spring, I’m super excited about the soon-to-be-released 3-D film, The Great Gatsby. I mean, really, how cool is it that it is in 3-D? Vogue is also clearly looking forward to the film as well because they put Carey Mulligan, one of the film’s esteemed stars, on the cover of the May Issue. In the film, Carey Mulligan plays Daisy Buchanan, the sixteen-year-old Chicago debutante with whom Fitzgerald first fell in love and who gave him the outline for so many of the women in his writing. The fashion is going to be as jaw dropping as the acting and film direction because Miuccia Prada created more than 40 looks for the movie!
The Great Gatsby release date is May 10th. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I plan to!
Oh WOW! I am looking forward to the latest movie rendition of "The Great Gatsby". The costumes will be divine.
