  2. Thank you for this poem, I read it at just the right time! I hope you know how very important and inspiring your blog is to a lot of people. I have told all my friends about it and sent them the link. Most of us are intimately connected to FBC in one way or another, it is a sisterhood and we are ever so glad to have found you.

    1. E.B.,
What a lovely thing to say! I am so glad you enjoy this sisterhood and appreciate so much that you share it with others.

      Best,
      Hollye

  3. I want to thank you for this quote. I'm not a breast cancer survivor, but I am a mother of two boys with bipolar disorder and other health issues. I am starting school this Fall for my 4th time and I am determined to not quit this time and finish school to get my degree. I saw this what I wanna call Inspirational Quote on Pinterest and it describes everything that means so much to me right now. So thank you and I am gonna carry it with me everyday to remind myself not to quit if times get hard.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing, Angelique. Your note means the world to me. Sending all of my very best wishes to you as you begin school. Please take good care!

  4. My elder sister sent a hard copy of this poem to me in 1987 when working in extremely difficult conditions in a new culture far from home. I still keep it in my notebook as an inspiration and as a reminder of the value of the support and care of family.
