New-Ness

I always feel like fall is the beginning of new adventures, new challenges, new beginnings. This fall has already proven to be a whopper of new-ness, including some really fun features in two fantastic magazines! I’m still blushing at them both!

I’m honored to be included in a story about inspiring cancer survivor’s in the October issue of SHAPE Magazine.

In October’s C Magazine, I am also honored to be included with a fun write up about non-carciniogenic beauty staples.

And let me tell you, I’ve got some fun new stuff planned for The Silver Pen as well! Next week will be a big, big, BIG week!

Thank you, thank you for your daily inspiration and movitivation to work hard every day on making TSP better than the day before. You ALL are my Silver Linings!

  1. Hi Holly, I just found your beautiful blog through Army of Women. I just started blogging this year after deciding to have a preventative mastectomy (I'm BRCA1+)…and will launch an independent fundraising campaign for DSLRF this October. Any words of advice for a blogger just starting out?

    1. Hi Andrea,
Many thanks for your note, Andrea! I really appreciate it.
WELCOME to the blogging world! It's SO FUN!
My recommendation: always write truthfully and write what is in your heart. Consistency is very important as well. I'll be doing a post on blogging this week. Hope you will enjoy it!
      Thanks, again…and welcome!

  2. H,

Have a lovely Fin de Semana.

  3. Congratulations Hollye!! Now more people will get to read your inspiring personal story in Shape and C magazines. It is an honor for you to be included in the magazine articles. But it is a huge inspiration and silver lining for those of us who read and follow your daily blog.

You inform us, amuse us, support us, and inspire us to live better lives despite F-bomb cancer. Thanks for all that you are and do for us, your readers.

    1. Thank you so very much, Carolee. I really appreciate your kind and thoughtful note. As a matter of fact, thank you, as always, for all of your comments!
