Recently I had the Silver Lined opportunity to meet Roz Savage, an ocean rower and environmentalist who is changing the world…one plastic bag at a time. I can’t begin to tell you what an inspiration she is. Truly. Amazing.
Oh, and by the way, she holds four world records for ocean rowing, including first woman to row three oceans: the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian. She has rowed over 15,000 miles, taken around 5 million oarstrokes, and spent cumulatively over 500 days of her life at sea in a 23-foot rowboat. She uses her ocean rowing adventures to inspire action on the top environmental challenges facing the world today. Uh huh. She’s that cool.
I’m so grateful to her for spending time with The Silver Pen. I hope that you enjoy getting to know her as much as I have!

SO inspiring! Thank you for introducing me to Roz and her amazing adventures for a very important cause.
Absolutely, Kathi!
Thank you for bringing Roz to us, Hollye. What I appreciate most are her silver linings and how paring down her life has "freed so much head space" for what truly matters. That is so powerful and reminders are always welcome–usually showing up when I need them most! xo
I couldn't agree more, dear Frances. Thank you for your note! xx
Wow, that is one special kind of human being! Gives you hope for our race, doesn't she?
She is indeed, E.B. …you're so right about giving hope! Thank you for your comment!
I agree! I love her too!
Thanks for your note, Kim!
