Paris: The Photography of John Mardiat

Paris, an Elevated View, TheSilverPen.com

Hope you had a great Bastille Day!  Having just returned France, I’ve been feeling especially francophile-ish. This weekend, we had a fun family outing to the French festival in Santa Barbara, an annual homage to any and all things French, albeit Southern California Style  …and also happened to be as close to France as we were getting on this Bastille Day Weekend.

The Silver Lining of the festival was seeing the photography of Santa Barbara based John Mardiat, a doctor-turned-(talented!) photographer. His images of Paris are breathtaking and drool-inducing. He agreed to allow me to share some with you here. Be sure to see more beautiful images on his website: http://www.johnmardiat.com
