What an incredible Silver Lining this quote from Kelly Ann Rothaus was for me today. I love – just love – when life reminds me (in little ways and in big!) to stop and look at the beautiful bounty that is all around me. In addition to saying “Thank You” and expressing gratitude wherever and whenever I can, writing in my daily gratitude journal helps remind me to appreciate all that life has to offer. No, I wasn’t particularly appreciative of my breast cancer diagnosis (remember that I’m one of the people who does not believe that cancer is a “gift”), but I am grateful for the Silver Linings that came during and after.
