Three Essentials to Leadership
On this day marking the 150th Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, I am thinking about the concept of Leadership. After all, Lincoln had these essentials in spades.
As I type this, Suddenly Seven is sitting on the floor of my office playing with her mini-figures, making up the most delicious stories (yes, I am eavesdropping!). I often find myself wondering what her life will be like as she gets older. I believe that instilling these qualities of humility, clarity, and courage in her character will be one of the best things that I – as her Mom – can do for her.
Further, we do this for all of our children, we will ultimately create our greatest legacy.
