As I’ve mentioned a few times, I am super duper excited to get my hands on Grace Coddington’s upcoming memoir (to be released in November). As Vogue’s Creative Director, she is a force. Anna Wintour has described Grace as the “heart and soul of the magazine.”
Her vision and talent extends far beyond the pages of the magazine. According to Vogue.com, “She is well-known for sketching looks as they come down the runway from her front-row perch during fashion week, but her drawings also take on a distinctly personal, and often humorous, tone.” Here is a sneak peak at some of her sketches. How fun and happy are they? I mean, really. Hope that you enjoy them as much as I do!
I watched the September Issue and gained a whole new level of respect for the magazine an it's creators. Grace most certainly stood out in the film – her ideas were so brilliant and so beautifully executed. Thanks for sharing these little comics. 🙂 They're great. ~Catherine
