Valentine’s Day is coming up. Yippeee! For years, it has been one of our favorite holidays. How great is it that after 10+ years of marriage, we are still crazy about each other (Silver Lining!)? Not a single day goes by that I don’t recognize how fortunate I am to be married to the HOTY (a/k/a Husband of The Year for new readers).
We aren’t a couple in which opposites attract. Rather, we are a like-attracts-like kind of couple. Speaking of which, one of the things that we really like is chocolate. Like really isn’t an apt description of our emotion toward the delicacy. My oh my, we actually lovooooove chocolate. And certainly Valentine’s Day ’tis the season for chocolate.
My nutritionist extraordinaire, Rachel Beller, gave me some phenomenal chocolate options that are not only acceptable, but actually encouraged from a nutritional perspective. How great of a Silver Lining is that? I’m just sayin’….
Enjoy!
Chocolove Almonds and Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate
Sweetriot chocolates. Putting these in my purse is a high priority. Never leave home without them.
Chocolove Orange Peel in Dark Chocolate (especially good for breast health – Silver Lining!)
Hope that you enjoy them as much as the HOTY and I do!
Hollye – just wanted to add to your blog that after 27 years of marriage (ok so Hall is 6 years younger than me) we have fallen in love with jessica foster confections at http://www.jessicafosterconfections.com/
Jessica's truffles have been a preferred gift at Christmas and Valentine's Day for us… so if you haven't tried her please do. No I'm not paid to promote her ….just have our professional and loved one wanting more 🙂
