Happy Father's Day

Wishing all of you Dad’s an exceptional Father’s Day!

An especially big wish goes to the HOTY (a/k/a Husband of the Year) who for today shall be renamed DOTY (Dad of the Year).  In addition to being the most exceptional husband since the day we were married (almost 10 years ago!), since this FBC nonsense began, he has demonstrated Daddying worthy of a Silver Lining medal (which is better than a gold medal, by the way).  It’s easy to parent when things are good.  When we have our health.

The true measure of a person’s capacity to parent comes during a crisis, be it health or otherwise.  Suffice it to say that the DOTY has risen over and above in every single way. And I am so incredibly grateful to him!

He didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.
