One of my new favorite books (perhaps it’s not new-new, but it’s new to me!) is American Fashion Travel.
In this beautiful and amusing book, the CFDA and Assouline bring us a beautiful, scrapbook-style collection of detailed travel-centric questionnaires, personal photos, amusing anecdotes, and snapshots from some of the country’s most notable American designers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Vera Wang, Philip Lim and Tory Burch.
Yes, as they suggest, my wanderlust it totally inspired by this Silver Lining happy book!
If you ever need a little escape, this is your book!
Plus, if I happened to be invited anywhere this summer, it’s likely that I’ll bring this as a hostess gift. (Yes, that’s a HINT that I would indeed like an invitation!)
