Saturday Sweeps: St. Patrick's Day!

Being of Irish heritage, I inherently loooooove St. Patrick’s Day. Going to school at Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame, I learned (from the best!) how to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day. Follow that up by 15+ years living in Chicago where the Chicago River is dyed green every year is some excellent Irish training. Hope you all have a wonderfully festive St. Patrick’s Day!

  1. A wee bit o Irish here. Wearing me emerald green I'll be.
Dancing a jig and swilling me Stout for sure.
Corned Beef and cabbage with me mates, swilling me Stout.
So wishing a wee Irish Blessing upon ya.

  2. My husband and I were in Chicago for 10/10/10 Marathon and it was amazing!! I was feeling healthier at that point, but not up to a marathon. I cheered my husband on and saw him run by….. such an emotional moment! Temperature was in the 80's in October and a very memorable time for all kinds of reasons. We enjoyed every single moment of the trip including architectural tour, stunning city views, restaurants, old bars, parks, shopping, strolling through neighbourhoods….. such an incredible FEEL to the city. We loved it all & our stay at the Elysian was the best! Happy St. Paddy's Day, Hollye! Cheers!
