Magnificent Marigot

This past year with FBC turned me into a pajama connoisseur (Silver Lining). Now that I don’t have to wear them everyday, I still love a good pair of jammies. And to have a pajama party with girlfriends is still the BEST!

I am excited to share with you the Marigot Collection, created by Lynne Gilbert. She is a designer from Kansas City who, for as long as she can remember, has had the vision of this pajama line named after on of her favorite beaches in St. Barts. She wanted to create something that she and her friends could wear to have coffee in the mornings (AND for reading TSP, of course!) when she has house guests in Palm springs, Lyford Cay, and KC.

The Marigot Collection was created using the finest, 140-count cottons and cashmere, in a palette of classic and complimentary colors. All of her goodies are made in Los Angeles (Silver Lining).

“What I love about being a designer, is the ability to create something that is personal and special for my client. Whether it is choosing beautiful fabrics and furnishings, or coordinating the details of a wedding, you take ideas and translate them into something that compliments a unique lifestyle with its changing needs and wants. I approached my pajama line, Marigot, in very much the same way. I knew I wanted to take a classic piece and give it a fresh, new, luxurious feel, with all of the style and details that I love. Of equal importance, I wanted the person wearing my pajamas to feel comfortable and elegant whether their destination is a fabulous weekend getaway, a casual vacation with friends and family, or at home curled up with a favorite book.”

One of  Lynne’s Silver Linings is that she is also Co-founder and avid supporter of S.A.S.S.Y., a non-profit organization based in Kansas City, which pairs seniors in need of companionship with appropriate, adoptable pets and community support resources. How great is that?!?

Below are some of my favorite looks from the collection:

I mean, really, how pretty is a stack of cashmere sweaters?
