Lots of friends from Santa Barbara are attending the Indian Wells tennis tournament in Palm Springs this week. I have one friend who is having so much fun that she extended her trip – lucky duck!
While I am off of the tennis courts until June 1st (to allow the “New Girls in town” to heal), I continue to dream about my beloved sport. My nights of insomnia (yes, I still have them with aggravating frequency) lead me straight to the Tennis Channel which always results in a Silver Lining!

To further inspire (& appease!) my tennis jitters, I came across a beautiful photo spread of Anouck Lepère in Elle Italia. I especially love the wood tennis racket. So chic. June will be here before we know it…RIGHT?!?!?
My favorite inspiration, however, comes from watching Sweetly Six “play” (a generous description) in her weekly tennis clinic (Silver Lining)!
My husband took our oldest this weekend…she had the best time and got to meet Ana and watch the ladies play! How awesome for her, right? She is starting to really love tennis!
