Silver Lining Speech

Recently, a friend suggested that I read the Commencement Speech delivered by Steve Jobs on June 12, 2005 to Stanford University. What an incredible Silver Lining gift this was! I recommend getting a nice cup of tea and settling in to read these words of wisdom…actually, brilliance.

A few months ago, I had the great privilege of attending (and COMPLETING!) the intensely rigorous hiking program at The Ranch at Live Oak Malibu. It was one of the great trips of my life because I did it while undergoing chemo (that’s also the insane part!). Today, I had the great privilege and opportunity to attend a cooking class hosted by the extraordinary Mollie Ahlstrand of Trattoria Mollie’s in Montecito (full disclosure: Mollie’s is our favorite restaurant in town!). And the Silver Lining is that I get to share her Fusilli al tonno. Yeah!
