Graduation!
I have had the honor of earning quite a few graduation certificates in my life (because I loooooove school!). I can honestly say that the one I received yesterday for graduating from breast cancer treatment means as much, if not more, than all of the others!

San Francisco Blackbook
A friend recently asked if I was super excited to get out of San Francisco….to be DONE with my breast cancer treatments. Actually, I must separate the two. I’m ready to be DONE with treatment; however, I’ve fallen head over heels in love with San Francisco (a BIG Silver Lining)!

As I am nearing the completion of my daily treatments (Silver Lining), this quote keeps popping in my mind…let’s just say that I am feeling hopeful and starting to see the possibility of strength in the broken places. Friday's Fixin's: Kitchari
As I’ve mentioned before, I’m beginning to get my head around cleaning out, physically (and emotionally!). After the immense amount of toxicity that I’ve had in the 8+ months (& that’s just the treatment…not even counting the breast cancer!), my body is screaming for a cleanse.
Reboot
As this period of aggressive, daily treatment for breast cancer is coming to an end (Silver Lining), I’m feeling as if a “Reboot” button is about to be pushed….and I don’t yet know what will appear on the screen as a result….
SL San Francisco Adventures: Grocers and Farmers
One of the many things that I loooooove about San Francisco is the food – it’s fresh, delicious and omnipresent! And I also love the fact that finally, I’m in a place where people talk more about food than weather! Whether food is bought at restaurant or from a farmer or local grocer, there is an inherent joy to all things food related. Producing it. Selling it. Making it. Eating it. Speaking of local gardeners and farmers…
